Legal
Personal information must be handled responsibly and transparently.
Enquiries, registrations of interest and membership applications may include contact details and business information. Private application information must not be displayed in the public directory.
Membership applications are stored privately in Lovable Cloud under your signed-in account for assessment and communication. We collect your membership path, name or organisation, contact details, industry category, description, relevant insurance answer, optional website and county, and student institution and course where applicable. Applications are manually reviewed; signing up is not membership approval. Only information separately agreed for publication belongs in a public profile. Application email, telephone and education details are not automatically published. Contact membership@iwif.ie to request correction, withdrawal or deletion. The federation must confirm its full retention schedule; no automated retention period is currently configured.
Assistant accounts store your email, business display name and separate conversations in Lovable Cloud. Conversations are private to your account and retained until you delete them. Questions and relevant conversation history are sent through Lovable AI to generate answers grounded in published IWIF guidance. Do not include sensitive customer information, private documents or payment details. AI responses may be inaccurate and are not legal advice, membership approval or an official federation decision.
You can delete individual conversations in Ask IWIF. To request deletion of your account or correction of your business name, contact info@iwif.ie. Assistant accounts are distinct from approved federation membership. The federation must confirm its complete retention and service-provider notice before public launch.
For questions about your information, or to request access, correction or deletion, contact info@iwif.ie. You may also contact the Irish Data Protection Commission.
The directory distinguishes confirmed IWIF members, independently researched industry listings and explicitly labelled demonstration entries. Public business contacts and operating-history statements are sourced from published material. Industry listings do not imply federation membership or endorsement. Demonstration entries are not real businesses and cannot be contacted.
The federation should review this notice and confirm the full retention schedule and service-provider terms before promoting the membership programme widely.
This document is maintained by the Irish Wedding Industry Federation and will be updated as the renewed federation's services develop.
