Terms of Use & Membership

The federation's role is representation, standards, information and industry development.

Website information

Information on this website is general industry information, not legal, financial or insurance advice. Historical industry estimates are identified as such and should not be treated as current measurements.

Membership terms

The membership structure comprises Business Member, Professional Member, Student Member and Industry Affiliate. Applications require manual review and do not confer membership automatically. Members are expected to follow the IWIF Professional Standards relevant to their activities. Fees, renewal conditions and any additional eligibility requirements will be communicated before a paid membership commitment; the application does not take payment. Existing confirmed member listings do not establish a fee or renewal entitlement for new applicants.

Directory listings

Confirmed IWIF members are identified by a member label. Other researched businesses and representative bodies are industry listings, not IWIF members or partners. Demonstration records are explicitly marked, are not real businesses and have no booking or contact facility. IWIF does not provide paid rankings, reviews or booking services.

Member identity

An IWIF Member badge indicates membership only. It is not a Government licence, statutory accreditation, financial guarantee or warranty of a supplier's services.

Consumer arrangements

Consumers remain responsible for evaluating suppliers and entering their own contractual arrangements. IWIF does not adjudicate contractual disputes unless a specific dispute resolution service is introduced.

This document is maintained by the Irish Wedding Industry Federation and will be updated as the renewed federation's services develop.
